Barbara David's art practice links her to the physical world, to both the objects that form her subject-matter and to the medium itself. She looses herself in slow looking and in exploring the textures, lines and patterns that result from the myriad ways of applying ink to paper. Her work is neither intentionally narrative nor aims to deliver a message or communicate thought. Rather She hopes that it enables a viewer to share her joy in visual sensation. Artist Detail (pdf)
